Savannah, Georgia is full of historic hidden gems and the venue featured in this wintertime wedding rehearsal dinner is no exception. Garibaldi’s is an elegant restaurant venue with festive charm, perfect for hosting a wedding rehearsal dinner with friends and family. The restaurant used to be an old fire house and many historic elements remain, even though the space has been transformed to a more elevated dining space. (For more insight on having your rehearsal dinner at a restaurant, see our pros & cons of wedding rehearsal dinner at a restaurant.)
Jacob and Mary Margaret embraced the holiday winter season, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere in a private dining room of the restaurant. An abundance of candlelight and twinkle lights along with lush greenery and garlands warmed the space on a cool November evening. A color palette of white and shades of green with plenty of gold accents added to the warm and elegant setting.
Holiday ornaments hung from elaborate chandeliers and lighted wreaths in the windows, adding to the festive event vibes. Simple greenery accented mix and match centerpieces of gold hoops and globes surrounded by candlelight. Vintage looking gold frames held elegant table numbers. Both the bride and groom’s last names start with the letter M and so a floral accented ‘M’ was used throughout the paper goods for the rehearsal dinner. The motif was featured on menu cards at each place setting and on the individual place cards. The design was also used on custom napkins and drink koozies that the rehearsal dinner guests got to take home as a keepsake wedding favor.
